My favorite live show. 2002, 6-24. Also, in honor of the new live Vultures show, it happens to be in Melkweg, Amsterdam. It is studio quality and a mind blowing performance. Lineup is Josh obviously, Troy on backup guitar/lap steel, Nick on bass, Dave Grohl on drums, and Mark Lanegan doing vocals on songs where he is needed. ENJOY!

Setlist:

01. Monsters In The Parasol (4:12)
02. Feel Good Hit Of The Summer (3:00)
03. You Would Know (4:15)
04. You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar But I Feel Like A Millionaire (2:51)
05. Hanging Tree (3:29)
06. Song For The Dead (6:23)
07. I Think I Lost My Headache (6:41)
08. Avon (3:47)
09. No One Knows (4:36)
10. Ode To Clarissa (2:40)
11. Mexicola (5:23)
12. Tension Head (4:22)
13. Regular John (5:26)
14. Do It Again (3:02)
15. God Is In The Radio (11:03)
16. The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret (5:04)

PS: Everything posted here so far (as of 8/19) is available in a lossless FLAC or WAV file with the exceptions of the Troubadour show, the BBC sessions, and the Montreaux Jazz Festival... if anybody is interested in those. I posted these in high quality MP3 because most people aren't familiar with FLAC and don't have room for a lot of WAV files. Contact me on here or PM me if interested.

No problem guys. By the way, the more feedback I get the more cool stuff I will post because this thread will stick around. Here are a couple more I posted elsewhere.

Song for the Dead, 2007 with extended breakdown/jam session at Gonzos Birthday Bash: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=43JI16YG (This one has a small edited portion, as you may notice. The original had lost frames, so I replaced the gaps with a different source from the same show. Difference is noticeable but it keeps the rhythm from being thrown off.

Misfit Love, same show: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9054GX9A

Lineup: Josh, Troy, Joey Castillo, Dean Fertita, Mikey Shoes

Great quality :rockin:

Here's a real gem. You Can't Quit Me, Baby, from Dec. 4, 2000 Dusseldorf, Germany. TV sourced, fantastic quality. This version goes for 14 minutes and 14 seconds. Incredibly long trippy jam session goodness takes place, and includes Josh playing the guitar with a beer bottle close to right before when he starts singing. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v41/caffeineboy/qu7ls.gif?t=1250543368

Here is the entire Troubadour March 7 2002 show. SFTD had not come out yet, and this was played to a small club in LA, so my guess is this was the first time a lot of these were played. This might be why Dave messes up on Millionaire, but outside of that this show is AMAZING quality and performance. Soundboard recording.

Setlist not readily available for pasting, but it is amazing. Standard 2002 lineup.

3. Give the Mule What He Wants

Yeah, they are mixed low, but I love how punchy everything sounds, and the fact that there's no compression. Best example of this is when Song for the Deaf first kicks in, or when Tension Head first kicks in. The volume difference is astronomical, which you never get on things sourced from FM or TV because of dynamic compression standards. Good ol' sound board rips... I love em!

I'd like to throw in one of my favorite shows. I have turned people who don't like Queens onto them with this show. Eurockeennes 2007 in Belfort. The French really know how to make a band sound great. I referenced this in another thread and there are a few other great recordings from this festival including the Pixies, Strokes, and Radiohead.

- Burn The Witch
- Misfit Love
- Little Sister
- Battery Acid
- Turnin' On The Screw
- In My Head
- How To Handle A Rope
- Go With the Flow
- I Think I Lost My Headache
- Sick, Sick, Sick
- Monsters In The Parasol
- Into The Holow
- Mexicola
- 3's and 7's
- No One Knows
- A Song For The Dead

Clinky (http://rapidshare.com/files/89865374/Eurokeennes_2007.rar)

Also, the proshot video from this show as well countless other video and audio boots are available on this (http://q-o-t-s-a.blogspot.com/). They've got MP3s, FLACS, everything! Everyone's happy! :P

And thanks for some choice stuff!

EDIT: I see that link has been shared. Cool!

Found a download of the Natasha Schneider benefit gig which is pretty cool! There's a track listed as "Unknown Alain Song" which turned out to be an early version of Endless Eyes :) Not perfect quality but still a great gig
